About Maggie M. Clemmons

Polaris Education Partners is led by Maggie M. Clemmons, a veteran educator and systems strategist with over two decades of experience across classroom instruction, school leadership, state policy, and organizational development.
Maggie began her career as a classroom teacher and advanced to roles as a school administrator and central office leader. She later served at the Virginia Department of Education, where she was the Director of Licensure and School Leadership and the Director of Organizational Development and Advancement. She also served as staff liaison to the Virginia Board of Education’s Advisory Board on Teacher Education and Licensure.
Most recently, Maggie served as Chief Talent Officer at Richmond Public Schools, where she focused on improving hiring practices, increasing licensure compliance, elevating school culture, and empowering HR teams to build responsive systems that better serve students and staff.
